I once asked the owner why a guesthouse, why go in this industry?
She smiled and said a very wise man who she used to work for gave her the opportunity to do her own thing.
“He believed in me so much that he couldn’t think of anyone else to do it, I was in such marvellous awe that I couldn’t let the opportunity slip,” she said.
Just seeing how much joy and passion came from her eyes & smile as she spoke about her journey came to be, motivated me.
And so Nobis House was born. And the rest like they say is history.
Nobis in Latin means “Our House”. Nobis house is a home away from home.

Hospitality at Nobis House Bloemfontein
I really like the hospitality. The host Kelly really made us feel at home. The morning breakfast and talks during the under18 hockey week were great. Really enjoyd the stay and everything was central. Malls and hockey fields is walking distance from the Guest House.

Beautiful place, Owner/Receptionist was very helpful, and went an extra mile to make us feel at home. Staff was friendly, I enjoyed their breakfast, Keep up the good work, I will definitely come back when I visit Free state again.

Best place in Bloemfontein
The host and staff are so friendly and helpful. The Breakfast was good and gave you the energy you need for the day. The swimming pool was a bonus. Everything is well-organized. This is our new house when we visit Bloemfontein.

We felt safe, comfortable and welcome at Nobis house and will definitely go back.
Unit 2 was really comfortable with lots of space and comfortable beds. The communication from our host was excellent and the breakfast scrumptious! I specifically enjoyed the internal renovations combining the old and the new. It was done so tastefully making our stay even more pleasant. Enjoyed our glass of wine in our little private outside area.
